By Megan & Natasha Makara
We’re Natasha and Megan, lifelong friends who never expected that our hardest chapters would one day become the foundation of something that helps other women heal.
Between us, we’ve faced domestic violence, grief, trauma, severe illness, crippling anxiety and moments where coping meant turning to habits that hurt us more than they helped. Rebuilding ourselves didn’t happen quickly and it certainly didn’t happen neatly but it sparked something powerful in both of us: the belief that healing becomes even stronger when you use it to help someone else.
That belief is what led to ChaLuMu.
When Natasha stopped v*ping using a simple tool, she was surprised by how much it also helped during anxious moments. But everything available looked clinical, medical or nothing like something a woman would actually wear every day. There was no beauty, no meaning, no sense of empowerment.
So together, we set out to create it.
ChaLuMu is transformative jewellery designed for women who want to step away from harmful habits and feel more supported during stressful or anxious moments. It’s discreet, elegant and genuinely wearable, a piece you reach for when cravings pull, when anxiety spikes or when the day feels heavier than expected.
We didn’t create ChaLuMu because life was perfect. We created it because it wasn’t and we refused to let that be the end of our story.
If you’re working through addiction, recovery, anxiety or the long process of rebuilding your life, we want you to know this:
you are not behind, you are not failing and you are not alone.
Every small moment where you choose yourself again is a victory.
And you deserve tools that make you feel supported, capable and strong. Not ashamed, judged or hidden.
ChaLuMu is our way of offering that strength to other women, one moment at a time.
