Welcome to summer Hopezine 2025

Editor’s letter

Summer is here and with it comes the latest edition of Hopezine. For this special edition, writers have come together from Nigeria to Brunei to make their dreams come true – quite literally! We’ve written up our dreams to share with you and to see them in 3D.

A new edition to our cohort of writers is Christopher Bird, who has also produced the cover art. He’s as much a savvy storyteller, as he is a natural artist. You’ll find his recent short story for all ages on pages 8-9, best read by candlelight on a starry night.

Our Accessibility Consultant, Paul and I, have also wheel-tested some accessible travel from an overseas cruise from Southampton to Norway on pages 18-19, to the cobbled streets of working class city Hull and beyond across pages 12-17.

Whether your dreams are IRL goals, or of the sleepy variety – I urge you to keep them alive by jotting them down on paper or PC. Research that dream trip. Put your goals out into the Universe and allow them to manifest.

Enjoy a sparkling summer ahead!
