dog but we didn’t succumb. This year, my now grown-up daughter announced she
wanted a puppy. I was underwhelmed at the prospect but watched her getting
more and more excited as the day for collecting the puppy approached. At first
meeting, I fell for Truffle. She’s such a little character – and a right mixed bag –
a springadoradoodle. Whenever I’m asked about pets these days, I always reply
that I’m proud to have a granddog.
